透明なエポキシ樹脂で座面と背もたれを身体に馴染む曲面によってつくることで、椅子としての実用に十分に耐えるものとしながら、座らないときは見る場所や時間によって周囲の風景や光を絶えず異なる反射や透過をするような彫刻装置にもなるよう考えました。
We thought of this chair as both practical enough to endure as a seating option, but also as a sculpture that would reflect and transmit the surrounding scenery and light differently depending on the place and time when viewed, thanks to its curved surface created by transparent epoxy resin that fits the body perfectly on the seat and back.
